All Floor One recently fitted new flooring in a house. Before we installed the luxury vinyl tiles that our clients had chosen, we put down a layer of Estillion Smart Overboarding. Using overboarding is a great way to renovate uneven or damaged subfloors. It creates a perfectly flat base for new flooring. Preparing the subfloor helps to ensure a durable and long-lasting installation.
Once the overboarding was in place, we then fitted the luxury vinyl flooring on top of it. Our clients chose Karndean Knight Tile Plank laid in a herringbone pattern with a straight plank border and 5mm strip. This nicely defined the shape of the room and created additional interest. Laying the tiles in a herringbone pattern also gives more visual interest and makes the room seem wider. You can see what it looks like from the photographs attached.
