With this project we started the process by grinding the terrazzo floor and filling in the channels with repair mortar. The next part of the process was to apply a smoothing compound to create a flat surface. This ensures that any uneven or rough parts of the floor are eradicated. After this we used Epoxy DPM, which is a liquid damp-proof membrane that stops moisture from rising through a concrete floor. It creates a protective, waterproof barrier for the flooring that goes on top.
