As an LVT floor fitter in Derby, All Floor One recently installed new luxury vinyl flooring in the hallway of a home. Our clients decided to have J2 Natural Timbers NT48 Glacier Oak. This luxury vinyl flooring has a beautiful rustic charm that is perfectly suited to a hallway, whether in a home or office.

Before fitting the luxury vinyl flooring, we covered the original timber floorboards with SP101 plywood fixed to British standards. This included feathering the joints, which creates a smooth, seamless transition between each piece of plywood. Correctly preparing the subbase is vital in order to ensure that a quality finish is achieved, as any professional LVT floor fitter in Derby will testify to.

Once this was in place, we then installed the luxury vinyl flooring. Using F Ball F46 Pressure Sensitive Acrylic Vinyl Adhesive, we glued down the new flooring. There are a variety of laying patterns, in this instance we used straight lay plank. You can see what the new flooring looks like in the included photographs.
